TOM International is pleased to announce that the municipalities of Maasin, Anahawan, and Macrohon in the province of Southern Leyte, Philippines will be the beneficiaries of our 2024 Medical Mission.

This mission was proposed by Dr. Elwin Yu on behalf of TOM Eastern Visayas, and will be delivered in partnership with TOM International, TOM residents, and the Local Government Units of Southern Leyte.

These three communities face unique challenges, primarily due to their remote locations, far from advanced medical facilities like those found in Tacloban City. Compounded by the aftermath of Super Typhoon Odette and other previous typhoons, the residents of Anahawan, Pintuyan, and Macrohon are in municipalities that have limited access to medical care, where doctors and essential medicines are scarce.
