This year’s mission expands its impact with the introduction of veterinary services, complementing our medical, surgical, and dental programmes.

October 24–25, 2026 marks another milestone for Tau Omega Mu International as it expands its commitment to community service through the TOM Community Medical and Surgical Mission 2026 and Animal Health Clinic. This year’s mission will serve the municipalities of Siruma, Pili, and Tigaon in Camarines Sur, Philippines, in partnership with TOM Bicol, TOM IOTA, TOM 1972, local government units, healthcare professionals, and civic organisations.

Access to basic healthcare remains a significant challenge for many families in these areas due to financial limitations and constrained resources. Coastal Siruma’s geographically dispersed barangays, underserved rural communities in Pili, and agricultural and coastal areas in Tigaon all face barriers to consistent and accessible medical, dental, and surgical care.

In response, this mission will deliver free, comprehensive healthcare services directly to communities in need, focusing on indigent families, senior citizens, children, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups. In addition, this year introduces an Animal Health Clinic focused specifically on canine care, recognising the important role dogs play in households and community life.

Services Include:

  • Medical consultations, screenings, and basic diagnostics
  • Minor surgical procedures
  • Dental services
  • Blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring
  • Minor wound care
  • Distribution of medicines, vitamins, and eyeglasses
  • Health education and disease prevention awareness
  • Canine veterinary services in Pili and Tigaon

Target reach:

  • 150 surgical patients in Siruma
  • 1,500 individuals for medical services in Siruma and Pili
  • 600 dental patients in Siruma and Pili
  • 100 dogs provided veterinary care in Pili and Tigaon

Beyond providing direct services, the mission strengthens collaboration among healthcare providers, volunteers, and local partners while advancing Tau Omega Mu International’s commitment to humanitarian outreach, community engagement, and compassionate service.
